I have been getting lessons from Sally Ann and Graham for quite a while.  I am thrilled to say that I finally passed my driving test last Friday.  Sally and Graham are by far the best instructors I have ever had and I have had quite a few!  I was on a journey with them and I finally reached my destination. Woo hoo, The 'L' plates can finally come off my car! I passed my driving test yesterday 9/10/2012 and I couldn't of done it without Sallyann! I am delighted and so happy! I was a complete beginner when I started taken lessons with Sallyann and prob the most nervous learner driver that she ever had! Thank you for your patience and guidance with me and basically teaching me how to drive correctly and safely. "Its all about getting into your car and driving, Practice!" This is what Sallyann would always say to me at the end of a lesson!! Also if Sallyann was unavailable for a lesson, her husband Graham(Graham is also a fully approved driving instructor) would take me for the lesson so that was great also.
I would recommend Sallyann to anyone for lessons. It was a long journey to get me fully qualified to drive(As I said I was a nervous wreck!) but we got there in the end Sallyann and all the hard work has paid off. Did my IBT with Michael in May 2011, and before the year was out as a direct result of his training I passed my Full Licence with no marks against and the garda bikesafe course (38 out of 40) I have also passed an advanced riding course.

Just came across this testimonial for Sallyann,5 years i stoped Sally in her car i live near her but did not know her. After been driveing for 12 years on a provisional and had to do the driveing test. I failed my test with another driving school years ago, so I wish I would have found Sallyann sooner. She made me feel at ease, as I was very nervous. I switched to Lucan Driving Academy after  having a number of bad lessons with another instructor. There was a huge difference in the teaching style of Fergus. On the first lesson he pinpointed a lot of faults and and habits I was making. We worked on rectifying these and after a few lessons I found a big change in my driving. I have felt like a different driver after my lessons and I suddenly had a lot more confidence driving on my own. I live in the Allenton estate area of Tallaght. I came to Sallyann as a very nervous beginner and we spent roughly twelve weeks together. She built my confidence more and more with every lesson by giving me easy to follow, precise and clear instructions. First time we went out he let me drive around and picked out my weakest points in my drive, He then worked on those weak points with me. Last year I had 15 lessons in a local off-road driving school in Maynooth, and I learnt from 4 different instructors. I wanted to stick to 1 instructor every time, but it wasn't easy. I passed my driving test in Waterford in March 2011, in the weeks preceeding my test I completed a number of lessons with Michelle. Without the guidance and instrucion of Michelle I would not have been successful, of that I am sure.
I do not particularily enjoy driving, and with other instructors I have found lessons to be draining and stressful. Michelle has a lovely pleasant and calm demeanour and made every lesson instructive and informative. She is very patient and has a knack of giving advice and making corrections in a manner that does not feel like criticism.
I benifited so much from her tuition, not only did I pass my test, but I feel I am a more confidant and safer driver. Michelle not only explains how a manouvere is to be done but why. Her knowledge of the test route and what is expected during the exam is spot  on.

Before sitting my pre-test with Sallyann, I had sat the test twice and was failed both times on minor-silly errors that should not have cost me my test. I had had close to thirty lessons, 5 pre-tests and two years experience on the road. I was honestly beginning to think the test was unfairly marked and far too stressful a process for anyone to undergo. Finally on receiving notification of my third driving test date-I decided to try a new school altogether and I came across Sallyann\'s page. I thought-here\'s a new face, and so I rang and arranged for a pre-test to be scheduled for the morning of my test. Sallyann recommended I try sit two pre-tests as you never can tell just how much you may still need to work on. So I had a pre-test with her colleague Graham and then herself. Both lessons were immediately different in that they firstly-reminded me this is just a once off thing! Pass and you shall never be subjected to this pressure again! Secondly, they just let m!
 e do my thing and then demonstrated themselves what I needed to improve on. Whether it was the demonstrations themselves or how both Graham and Sallyann addressed the issues-It didn\'t matter cause it worked. My brother met Sallyanne in grand Canarias and he told her he failed four times, and was put off driving instructors as they all kept telling him different ways to drive. Sallyanne said if he took lessons with her she would get him to pass! After doing lessons with Sallyanne he passed his test. Then my father took lessons with Sallyanne and he passed on his first time! I had not driven in ten years! I took just four pre-tests with Sallyanne and I passed my test the first time, only for Sallyanne I would (not) of passed my test. Towards the end of my first lesson Michelle said to me,"You can drive, but you're not going to pass the test." And she was absolutely right. Apparently there were several rules about driving that I wasn't even aware of. Additionally I had accumulated plenty of bad habits over the years which were not going to be easy for me to let go of. I had less than a week to prepare myself for the road test so I ended up taking lessons every single day and practicing them over on my own. Michelle was very accommodating and very flexible with scheduling my lessons which even included weekends. She was extremely patient but at the same time persistent on getting me to learn the right techniques. She has an excellent idea of what the examiner wants and knows exactly what needs to be done in order to pass the test. Even the routes I was asked to drive during the road test were covered thoroughly during the lessons. I passed my test the very first time without a problem. Although I have 12 years experience driving in Brazil driving on the left-hand side of the road has proved to be a bit tricky so I took my instructor´s advice and visited your website and registered to be able to watch all the videos as I found them very helpful. Thank you so much for the excellent lessons and I must say that I think that the website is brilliant. You break things down into very simple steps making the way to think about driving much easier. I thought the videos on the website were excellent. After watching the videos I found it much easier to understand and remember something after seeing it being done visually. Also when I had my lessons with you I found it very beneficial when you sat in behind the wheel yourself so I could see exactly the correct way to do things and in a very simple manner.

With regards to the website I really like the idea of having a one-stop shop for everything you need for your driving test…..video tutorials, sample test questions, under the bonnet checks, road signs etc. I found it quite monotonous going through the rules of the road book and found it much easier to log on and flick through the various sections on the website.

Also, after watching the videos a few times I found that once out on the road everything began to click….for e.g. when I was on a straight all I thought about was 3 things…position, speed and gears…previously I would always get worked up trying to remember everything…but after watching the videos I really did start just concentrating on doing one thing at a time. This for me made driving a lot easier.

After just two 2 hour lessons with you and through the use of your website I am a much more confident driver…..I definitely would not have passed today without your excellent tuition and excellent website. ..so thank you very, very much.
